I wish I were a Baker!

I love to bake... yes, my waistline shows it... I've given up baking in hopes of slimming down and trying to eat healthier... so far 12 pounds gone in a month... makes me sad to have to give up something I really love doing... so for now I will only bake for those "special occasions" I missed doing anything fabulous for Father's day so I am going to make up for it by making Mike a Cake for his B-day this Saturday...

My Dear friend Lindsey is in one word... AMAZING... she simply blows my mind with her kitchen creations... if you haven't been to her blog you seriously have to check it out...

Lindsey made me the best cake I've ever had on my birthday... no lie... here is the picture of this mouth watering creation.... it was even better in person... she is just my hero!

I'll post later on how my day of baking turns out... Oh man, we have 3 of our kids B-days in September I may have to re-think this baking for "special Occasions" thing or those 12 pounds will be back in no time :) Wish me luck!
