This is worth a few minutes of your time... Thanks to my cousin Sami for posting this on her blog!

Have a blessed day!
If you don't have 7 minutes here are some highlights of the video to Ponder:
Embrace this day with an enthusiastic welcome, no matter how it looks!
When you are physically sick, tired, or in despair, steer your thoughts away from yourself and direct them in gratitude and love towards God.
In your life there have to be challenges, they will either bring you closer to God and therefore make you stronger, or they can destroy you. But you make the decision of which road you take.
First and foremost you are a spirit child of God, if you neglect to feed your spirit, you will reap unhappiness. Don't permit anything to to detract you from this awareness.
Put all frustrations, hurt feelings and grumblings into the perspective of your eternal hope. Light will flow into your soul.
Pause to ponder the suffering Christ felt in the Garden of Gethsemane, In the awareness of the depth of gratitude for him you appreciate every opportunity to show your love for him by diligently serving in his church.
God knows better than you what you need, he always attempts to speak to you. Listen and follow the uncomfortable suggestions that he makes to us and everything will fall into its place.
When you cannot love someone, look into that person's eyes long enough to find the hidden rudiments of the child of God in him.
Never Judge Anyone, when you accept this, you will be freed.
If someone hurts you so much that your feelings seem to choke you, forgive and you will be free again.
On the road towards salvation, let questions arise, but never doubts. If something is wrong God will give you clarity, but never doubts.
Avoid rush and haste and uncontrolled words.
Divine light develops in places of peace and quiet. Be aware if that as you enter places of worship.
Be not so much concerned about what you do, but do what you do with all your heart, might, and strength. In thoroughness is satisfaction.
When you are compelled to give up something or when things that are dear to you are withdrawn from you, know that this is your lesson to be learned right now. But know also that as you are learning this lesson God wants to give you something better.
Thus we prepare all the days of our lives, and as we grow, death loses its sting, hell loses its power and we look forward to that day with anticipation and joy when he will come in his Glory.
Thank you Elder Busche... what inspired and truthful words to live by.

My Sister
I wanted to ask my friends and family who read my blog to pray for my sister Mindi and her new baby girl... Claudia Eden was born Monday (she shares a birthday with my Ammon), baby is having some complications with her lungs and had to be transferred to another NICU away from her mom, things are slowly progressing and baby is doing better each day. Please remember them in your prayers.
I am so thankful for the power of prayer, for a loving Heavenly Father who has given us this line of communication. I am so grateful for the power of the priesthood, for my brother in law and father who were able to lay their hands upon this sweet child and give her a blessing of healing... I know that the Gospel of Jesus Christ has been Restored to the earth and that through this restoration we have been blessed with priesthood power in our homes, for every worthy male. I can't imagine having to rely on my church clergy for this type of need.... it's another testament to me of the truthfulness of the Restored gospel of Jesus Christ, it's in our homes, because our families are vital and Heavenly Father has given us ways to bless and care for our families. I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ and I know that Heavenly Father hears and answers our prayers.

My Favorite time of the year!
If I haven't mentioned this before... FALL is my favorite time of the year! Now I know that it's not quite fall yet... but I can feel it coming and I can't wait... the smells, the leaves, the air... oh, it's like a drug for me!
As much as I love Fall for all of those reasons, it dawned on my last night that I also love this time of year for the "new start" feeling. As I sat and watched my sweet husband give each of my children their "father's blessing" to begin the school year... I couldn't help but be thankful to my Heavenly Father for the Priesthood in my home... I honestly don't know how we would survive without it. What a blessing it is to have that authority in our home to bless our children and myself as we need it. It is such a testament to me of Our Heavenly Father's plan for us (his children) he knew we would need this connection to him beyond that of our ecclesiastical leaders at church... so the Priesthood should be in every home... every family can have this wonderful power and it is something that I am eternally grateful for. I love my husband who follows the teachings of our Savior, Jesus Christ, who serves and loves and gives without asking for anything in return.
I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I am grateful beyond words for my knowledge of the restoration of the Gospel to the Earth. I know that families can be together forever and I love my family more than I can express in words.

Peace!
It's been a while but I wanted to say we are settled into our new place.. it's amazing to me how much stuff we have... going from our 3 bedroom apartment to this 6 bedroom 4 bath house (nearly triple the space) and yet we seem to have enough furniture to fill it... how?
We are so happy and feel so blessed to have this home to be living in... hopefully we will be here for many years to come. My children seem to love having the extra space and they really like that I'm not constantly telling them to "stop running" or the neighbors will call us because we're shaking their house! Oh, apartment living on the top floor with 4 kids was just difficult... even with the best neighbors you can ask for never complaining about our noise. I am so thankful for this opportunity to be in a larger home...
Pictures to come... can't find my camera charger...
